June 6th 2025 @ 10:00 am - June 8th 2025 @ 5:00 pm
£10
Celebrating 21 years as one of the UK’s most prestigious and much loved craft events. Set in idyllic parkland on the edge of Dartmoor, hosting an exceptional collection of carefully curated makers. Immerse yourself in 3 days of meeting over 200 makers, workshops for all ages, demonstrations, talks, Craft Cinema, live music, storytelling, walk about theatre, family activities and great food.
We’re pleased to share that Emerging Makers Chris Polin and Jackie Stephens will be exhibiting with QEST on our stand. Chris is a luthier and Jackie is a weaver – both will be doing live demonstrations of their craft, with Chris carving part of a guitar and Jackie tartan weaving on a loom as well as hand stitching pleats.
We’re also delighted to be showcasing the work of the local MAKE Southwest Craft & Making Club on our stand – this year’s group of talented 13-16 year olds have been working with a range of materials including glass, ceramics and textiles.
If you’re around the area, be sure to come along to the Festival and say hello!
Click here to read about the QEST’s stand from 2024. We were joined by QEST Scholar Jess Grimsdale – demonstrating the craft of signwriting and selling her hand-painted vintage tea wares, and Geoff Hannis – showcasing his hand-carved and hand-turned homewares and demonstrating the craft of woodturning on a pole lathe. In addition, QEST showcased works created by local young people at the MAKE Southwest Craft&Making Club, run in partnership with the National Saturday Club & QEST.
